It's a funny old (Good) Life....

Although I once fancied myself as an author, I seem to have finally stumbled into it by accident.

It began when a dear friend persuaded me to write an article about our lifestyle for Practical Poultry magazine, and then developed through various other magazines. My aim has always been to encourage others to have a dabble in our lifestyle...but the dribbles of income have been most welcome !

Some great news is that we have been commissioned to write our first book, which will be about rearing chickens for eggs and meat, and we are also in the process of writing a book about our journey into the "Good Life". Raising Chickens at Home is now completed and is due to be published by the Good Life Press in March 2009.

We are always interested in taking part in any media discussion on self-sufficiency or associated subjects.
